Woodland Nursery has been operating from the same location in San Marcos since 1980. We started our business over 30 years ago as landscape contractors designing custom residential landscapes in neighborhoods all over San Diego County. Finding it increasingly difficult to acquire the specimen plants we needed to do these custom jobs, we began growing our own quality palms and plant material exclusively for our own landscaping applications.

Over the years we have built lasting relationships with members of the local landscaping community and our business has grown by word of mouth and reputation. Three years ago, our sons, David and Jordan, took over operation of the nursery and we began wholesaling palms to landscapers, nurseries, and landscape designers. Soon afterward, we opened Woodland Nursery's business to the general public.
