Woodland Nursery is a family operated nursery business that specializes in cultivating King Palms and other palm
varieties and plants for wholesale to landscapers and landscape designers. Several years ago we also opened sales
to the general public to give homeowners and businesses direct access to our incomparable palm specimen inventory.
Our family's love for King Palms began in Carlsbad in 1987 when our father, Gary Scaparo, collected and propagated seeds from a 50-year old King Palm growing on a friend's property. Today that same specimen tree generates seed stock for the entire King Palm inventory nurtured at Woodland Nursery. We control quality by growing all of our palm varieties from hand selected seeds from our own specimen stock at our nursery. Quality and value are our clients' expectations of us and we prosper because our customers know that Woodland Nursery is "where quality grows."
